A day in NYC...

I was really quite excited the other day to visit NYC the second time this month.  I live outside of NYC, in the suburbs, but I really want to learn more about the city in 2016.  We took a $10 van into the city (don't ask, lol) and got dropped off at the GWB.  We then took the subway to Time Square and made our way to the Rockefeller Center to see the Christmas Tree.  Instantly I got caught up in the excitement.  There is something so invigorating about the city.  The people walking amongst each other heading to different places, the fashion, food, buildings, and culture to say a few. I love it and can't wait to see a lot more.

First visit was for a birthday brunch that ended late.  Sported my BCBG new leather jacket, vintage gloves from their line many moons ago, and these amazing Material Girl ankle boots that I recently purchased from Macy's for less then $40.  Very comfortable with a lot of height.

Second visit had my son with me :-), decided to go all leather with most pieces from BCBG.  They are having an annual sale at Lord & Taylor.  40% off with an additional 25%.  The following are my pictures from the last two times in the city.

More pictures to come... ;-)

It isn't an official New Years Eve without a Mask

It's that time of year to start anew, but before you run off to your New Years Eve soirĂ©e or count down as the ball drops complete your look with a mask from BCBG.  These gorgeous masks come in silver, pink, and black and are sure to dazzle.  Online they are on sale for $22.50, but in stores they are on final sale for $16.50.  Find them under accessories.

Sweater worn below is from Lord & Taylor, jeans from Francescas, belt is from BCBG, & shoes are Tahari purchased from Macy's.  All items are on sale.

Tis the season to... Decorate

Happy Holidays!!!  Not only do I love to choose versatile pieces on myself, but I tend to buy pieces at home that I can change along with the seasons, holidays, or special occassions.  These huge glass hurricane vases from Home Goods do just the trick and they are easily decorated to set the right mood.  For Christmas I added greenery, tree trunk pieces, pine cones, bells, and sparkly bling.  Keep posted to see as my vase transforms through time.
